With the successful completion of extensive reconstruction and renovation measures, cms electronics is setting another strong example for sustainable corporate development: A new photovoltaic system is now in operation on the roof of the factory at its Hungarian site. The system was installed as part of a comprehensive modernization initiative and is making a significant contribution to reducing CO\u2082 emissions and ensuring a sustainable energy supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the commissioning of the PV system, cms electronics underscores its commitment to implementing innovative and environmentally friendly solutions at all its locations. The solar energy generated covers a significant portion of the Hungarian plant's electricity needs and makes an important contribution to the implementation of the group-wide sustainability strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new PV system, with approximately 740 m\u00b2 of module area at the Hungarian site, generates as much electricity as approximately 50 single-family homes consume annually. Designed as an off-grid system, it supplies the Hungarian plant with self-generated solar power, completely independently of the public power grid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The plant marked the beginning of ongoing investments in renewable energy and is an important step towards a climate-friendly future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
