The demands on cybersecurity and resilience in electronics manufacturing are increasing significantly across Europe. Against this backdrop, the production site in Hungary has successfully completed a comprehensive NIS2 compliance assessment.

The European Union's NIS2 Directive sets out binding requirements for the cybersecurity of companies and critical infrastructures. Its aim is to increase resilience against cyber threats and to ensure a uniformly high level of security across the EU.

This puts the plant in Hungary in a pioneering role within the cms electronics group: Due to the national implementation of the directive, earlier proof was required here, which was successfully provided.

At the Klagenfurt site, intensive work is also underway to implement the NIS2 requirements. The corresponding measures are proceeding according to plan, with the aim of achieving full compliance by the October deadline.

With these steps, we at cms electronics are sustainably strengthening our security standards and ensuring that we can continue to offer our customers stable, secure and reliable processes in the future, especially with regard to the protection of sensitive production and customer data.
