On 28 September 2022, Austrian employers with family-friendly commitment were awarded in Vienna's Palais Berg. A total of 58 companies received the workandfamily certificates on site from MMAg. Dr. Susanne Raab, Federal Minister for Women, Families, Integration and Media.
The certificate was also awarded to cms electronics. The company is now one of a total of six industrial enterprises in Carinthia to have this distinction. Right now, cms electronics is creating framework conditions for all employees to combine job, family and private life.
The award for cms electronics is a visible sign of its family-friendly commitment. Michael Velmeden, CEO, comments: "Our employees are our greatest asset. We want them to do well. Satisfied employees also mean satisfied customers. In addition to the certificate, the new guiding principle of our company should also make this clear: We care for the people and the business. We at cms electronics do this in every respect."
In the workshops that were part of the certification, a number of measures were defined that will be implemented in the coming months. At cms electronics, however, there are already many offers - home office, flexitime, preventive health measures, to name but a few. The company wants to devote more attention to future issues. Generation management and the compatibility of nursing or care duties of relatives are focal points.
